Most frequent questions and answers
What information do I need to place an order?
As KC, we will provide an interested buyer with information on pricing and a PDF copy of a pantone booklet with colours and their corresponding codes. You will be required to send the dimensions (base and height in inches), corresponding colours identifier (from a Pantone booklet), design description (if the design is complex) and quantities for each design.
When will my order commence production?
Once we KC makes an invoice, the client will verify the invoice’s contents and a deposit of half the value of the order made to KC’s bank account. Once the funds reflect, work commences.
How long does it take for my order to be completed?
Completion of orders depends on a number of factors: the volumes and sizes requested; time of the year and; existing workload the artisans have. All these factors inform completion date and will be duly communicated.
How do I know what is being produced is what I ordered?
KC sends photographic updates of the work being done. However, for most first time buyers, a sample is usually made and photographed. When the buyer approves the sample(s), production officially commences.
Do you ship internationally?
KC ships internationally, though costs depends on destination and the volumetric weight of a parcel.
How do you ship internationally?
Shipping methodology depends on costs and how soon the client wants the parcel. These two outcomes are mediated by whether the client chooses air vs sea shipping. The former is swift (under a week to most destinations) but costly, while the latter is unrushed (between 30-60 days to most destinations) but affordable.
Can I receive my package at my doorstep?
Yes! This is the preferred method for shipping certain orders (less than 100kgs). For larger orders, most prefer to use airport to airport. Meaning, they have to go to the airport, hire a clearing agent and receive their parcel.
Does this mean if I use door to door I won’t get charged other costs beyond the final shipping costs I paid for my products?
This depends with each country. In some, the costs paid for shipping are inclusive of all other in country costs such as taxes. In others, there are additional costs. Please check where your country lies in relation to additional costs.
What information do I need to provide to have my parcel delivered?
The main information required includes: official names, preferred shipping address (house number, street, town/city, state/county and country. Additionally, a reachable phone number is required. In some countries such as Spain and France, an EORI number is required for tax purposes.
How will I be able to track my shipment?
A tracking number will be provided when the parcel has been processed. You can use this on the shipping company’s website, which we shall share.
